Adil Durrani, the husband of Bollywood actor Rakhi Sawant, has run into further difficulties when an FIR was lodged against him in Mysuru on Monday after an Iranian student accused him of rape.
The police said, “Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani has been accused of raping, cheating, threatening, and blackmailing a female student who came to Mysuru from Iran to study.”
They reported that a case had been opened at the Mysuru police station in VV Puram. A student from Iran who had come to Mysuru for the past five years to pursue a doctor of pharmacy degree was known to Adil Durrani.
Adil Durrani allegedly raped her after offering to wed her, according to authorities. The Iranian student made personal contact with him in one of the VV Puram flats because she thought they would be married, FIR stated.
Adil Durrani recently resisted proposing marriage to the student for the past five months. The student is upset about this, and she has complained to the Mysuru police department’s VV Puram station. She further claimed that he had blackmailed her into sharing pictures of their intimate moments on social media.
