Seven Gujarat Start-Ups to receive Rs 1.12 crores from Government

Kushal Rathore, a 30-year-old, has studied Construction Management at Nirma University. Kushal is all set to bring up a new Sports Device in the market which would help the players in Football, Badminton, Tennis, etc in improving their performance. He has named the device Sports Indifoot.

The device will help the players to know the heat-map, acceleration, distance cover, top speed, average speed, etc. Kushal himself has been a national football player.

Talking exclusively with VoI, Kushal said “ If India wishes to produce players like Roger Federer in coming times, children in the age group of 8-10 shall have to be aware of such products.”

Kushal has left his annual package of around Rs 35 lakhs for working on this project. Sports Indifoot will be made available on a subscription model to schools at subsidized/(especially affordable) rates.

Chintan Lodha is also working with Kushal Rathore on this project. Chintan too has left a salaried job worth lakhs of Rupees in a green energy company to join the project. Rs 17,40,000 is sanctioned for the project out of which Rs 4,65,750 has already been disbursed by the Government, 

A wide range of people including Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar is using Ressel Viper, made by Bharat Parmar, the proprietor of Shyam Innovation Company. The machine is used to scare the rats by using the frequency of snakes. Bharat Parmar was inspired to innovate this product after a pipe costing Rs 20 lacs on equipment costing Rs 6  crores was eaten up by the rats, when he was working for an industrial unit at Surat. The Russel viper costs Rs,15000. The government has sanctioned Rs17,40,000 out of which Rs 4,71,000 are disbursed

28-year-old Civil Engineer Devesh Patel has made a conversion kit named TR-10, which will convert Petrol-Diesel fuelled cargo vehicles into electric vehicles. The product is set for a launch in three months’ time. Devesh Patel Says “ This product is very important for changing diesel-driven economy.” Cost of this product is around  Rs 5 lacs. Devesh Patel’s company is sanctioned Rs 22,40,000 and Rs 7,28,000 has already been disbursed

Jainam Mehta joined a Start-Up as a software developer after completing his MSC IT from DA-IICT in 2017. Jainam informs “ I thought of Urban Nap first while I started  witnessing insomnia, ennui and fatigue during the company’s  frequent meetings with international clients from different time zones.” Urban Nap is country’s first relaxation pad. Urban nap provides relief to the body and mind. At present, the product is being used at airports and at large corporates. Rs 12,40,000 is sanctioned to Urban Nap and Rs 2,97,148 is disbursed.

52-year-old Kishor Parmar from Siddhapur of Patan District is making a useful device in the area of fire safety. Fire emanated from LPG and CNG pipe can be arrested with the help of this device. The device will be working as an automatic slide. While talking to VoI, Kishor Parmar informed that he thought of making such a device from his experiences during his 10-year stint at CNG pump. The product shall be available in the market after two months at the rate of Rs 2000. With formal education only up to the 9th standard, Kishor Parmar has made a project which is sanctioned Rs 12,40.000. Rs, 4,02,914 has been disbursed so far.

Neeraj Kumar, Mansi Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta have started the Make and break startup keeping in mind the gap between the curriculum taught in the school and real life. The startup would focus on making wooden toys at an estimated cost of Rs 500 to Rs 1,500. Neeraj said in a conversation with VoI, “This toy is a real-life product and is like a machine. It will help increase the creative ability of young children.” Rs 18,00,000 has been sanctioned for this project and Rs 2,16,000 has been paid so far.

Getting inspired by international interiors, Purvesh Shimejiya from Gondal, Gujarat, is transforming home appliances i.e., switchboard into a digital screen. Talking to VoI, Shimejiya said, “International companies sell it in 14 lakh rupees whereas, we are selling it in just 1.50 lakh rupees.” Shimejiya resigned from a company in Oman and started his own company, ‘White Automation’. Around 14 products of White Automation are available for sale in the market. His company has been sanctioned 12,40,000 rupees, of which 4,41,319 rupees are been paid.
