Surat's Young Spiritual Speaker Donates INR 50 Lakh to Ram Temple

Surat: As the nation eagerly anticipates the grand consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, an 11-year-old girl from Surat, Bhavika Maheshwari, has made a significant contribution to the construction of the revered temple. Renowned for her spiritual and motivational speaking, Bhavika has generously donated INR 50 lakh to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.

The Trust initiated a fundraising campaign for the Ram Temple construction in 2021, and Bhavika, driven by her commitment to the cause, actively participated. Her dedication materialized as she conducted Ramkathas at various locations, successfully raising INR 50 lakh, which she then donated to Govindgiri Maharaj, the trust’s treasurer.

What sets Bhavika’s contribution apart is her ability to inspire other young children to contribute from their piggy banks. Her remarkable INR 50 lakh donation, amidst the overall collection drive of INR 3,200 crore for the temple, adds a heartening dimension to her efforts.

In an era dominated by the influence of Western culture, where the younger generation is engrossed in mobile phones, creating reels, and watching web series, Bhavika’s efforts to promote Indian culture stand out as truly inspirational.

Even amid the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Bhavika exhibited compassion by visiting isolation centers, providing spiritual solace through her discourses. She organized programs addressing critical issues such as suicide prevention and conducted a ‘Vichar Shuddhi’ discourse in Surat’s Lajpor central jail, aiming to purify the thoughts of 3,150 inmates.

Bhavika’s commitment extends beyond monetary contributions. Having traveled over 50,000 km across the country, she organized 300 programs to raise awareness about national consciousness and various topics of national interest. With three authored books to her name, Bhavika has earned praise from notable figures like President of India Droupadi Murmu, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, and several chief ministers. Her social media posts have garnered support from ministers and political leaders, further acknowledging her remarkable endeavors. Additionally, Bhavika is the proud recipient of the International Ramayana Award and various national honors.
