Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, stated on Saturday that there are many questions about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s education in light of the Gujarat High Court’s decision that the details of his degree are not needed.
“An uneducated or less educated PM is dangerous for India,” Kejriwal said, citing instances where the PM’s statements were “not backed by science”.
Earlier on Friday, the Gujarat High Court overturned a 2016 directive from the Central Information Commission (CIC) requiring Gujarat University to provide Arvind Kejriwal, with information regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s M.A. degree.
A petition was filed by Gujarat University (GU) to overturn a directive from the Central Information Commission (CIC) seeking the university to provide information about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Master in Arts (MA) degree under the Right to Information Act (RTI) was approved by Justice Biren Vaishnav of the Gujarat High Court.
