The Gujarat President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), CR Paatil, organised a meeting to see the workers and leaders of the Surat district. Under the One Day One District program, State President Paatil met the party workers on 7th May 2022. The program entails the BJP leaders spending 24 hours in each district, meeting the workers and hearing people’s problems.
During CR Paatil’s visit to the Bardoli region of Surat, the BJP organised a grand bike rally in the Kadodara area. The locals greeted the BJP State President, CR Paatil, and felicitated him with flower garlands. Young members of the party accompanied Paatil’s vehicle during the bike rally.
Vapi was the first place to witness the One day One District program. However, the arrival of BJP’s National President, JP Nadda, and BJP’s National General Secretary, BL Santosh, to Gujarat hindered the flow of the program. In addition to this, the party workers requested a three days rest.
During the rally, Paatil attacked the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal. “They come from Delhi and talk about giving free grants to Gujarat. But, it isn’t Gujarat’s culture to accept freebies. Gujarat does not like free things,” he said. He appreciated the suggestions of the party workers by calling them helpful.
Many BJP personalities graced the event with their presence. Surat District President, Sandeep Bhai Desai, was also present during the event. State General Ministers Rajnibhai Patel and Pradeep Singh Vaghela attended the show.
