A former NCC cadet from Vadodara Chintan Parikh has been appointed as Fitistan-Ek Fit Bharat captain to create a fit army. Motivating people toward good health and honoring our soldiers are going to be two of his main objectives in this program.
Since Chintan shares a special bond with the defence personnel and visited the families of martyrs to get connect with them. He has visited numerous families over the past 12 years to get to know them better. He claimed that attending and spreading the message are acts of true patriotism.
As Fitistan’s captain, Chintan is solely dedicated to serving as a champion for the well-being of the local population and paying respect to the sacrifices made by our soldiers.
“It’s a great honour for me and I will work towards creating an army of fit people. I am also looking forward to conducting the Soldierathon Freedom Run on August 14 in Vadodara contains all the patriotic flavour and discipline and values of good citizens. The objective of this marathon is to honour martyrs and wounded warriors and to create a positive and enabling environment in the country where the citizens of the country, especially youth, are made aware of the great sacrifices made by our brave hearts and instil in them a sense of pride for the soldiers,” said Chintan.
Founded by Major Dr Surendra Poonia, VSM (Ex-Special Forces) and Shilpa Bhagat (2013 Mrs India World), Fitistan is the largest community of Indians that facilitates a physically and mentally fitter lifestyle.
