Income Tax Celebrates Cultural Event And Iconic Week

| Updated: June 9, 2022 12:30

The Income tax department organized a cultural event on Wednesday 8th June 2022. This event was attended by more than 600 people and was held at Dinesh hall Ahmedabad. This event was organized for celebrating our 75 years of India’s independence, happiness, culture, music, art, history, achievements, and so much more. This is celebrated through an iconic week from June 6th- 12th 2022. This celebration is also called Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

For this event, our chief guests were Ravindra Kumar, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, along with Sanjay Shrivastava, Commissioner of Police.

At this event, many government departments and various committee members from Aaykar Bhavan were present at the cultural program.
This cultural program contained lively dances showcasing the culture and history of Gujrat and where we have reached as a community, and an inspiring play that showed us that equality is everyone’s right and every woman should have their voice.
Sanjay Shrivastav, Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad graced the occasion as a chief guest and opened the event to a great start.

Priyank Panchal, A Indian cricketer who played in the team Gujrat Titans for the IPL and is also an employee for income tax was noticed and given an award for his achievements as a domestic and international player.

The surprising thing that happened was that the electricity had gone for 15 minutes and everyone had to wait for it to come back.

But overall the experience and the event were really good and I got to learn more about our culture and history.
