“Leaders of like-minded Opposition parties will be meeting at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s office in Parliament premises tomorrow morning,” said sources.
According to sources, on Monday at around 10 am, the leaders of the like-minded Opposition parties would meet in Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge’s office in Parliament.
Congress MPs would also gather at the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) headquarters in Parliament at around 10.30 am to plan their approach for the floor of the house, the sources said.
The 2023 budget session will continue following a one-month break. The break was intended to give the department-specific Parliamentary Standing Committees time to review grant requests and submit reports pertaining to their respective ministries or departments.
Earlier, during the 85th plenary session of Congress, they declared their readiness to collaborate with political parties that share their views. “The Congress party is the only party that has never compromised with the BJP/RSS and its despicable politics. We will always fight to protect our political values against the BJP’s authoritarian, communal and crony capitalist onslaught,” the party said in its declaration.
