The Gujarat government has ordered the promotion and transfer of nine IAS officers in the state.Three bureaucrats have been handed transfer orders, while six have been granted promotions.
A.B Gor, IAS, is now the new Collector of Vadodra; D.G. Patel, IAS, has been appointed as Commissioner of Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Gandhinagar. D.P. Desai has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), Ahmedabad.

Dr. Ajay Kumar, IAS, on deputation to the Government of India as Private Secretary to Minister of Education has been given a pro-forma promotion under Rule 8(5) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016 to Super Time Scale of IAS (Level 14 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/-).
Jenu Devan, IAS, Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd., Gandhinagar, has been promoted to Super Time Scale of IAS (Level 14 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/-) and appointed as Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration, Gandhinagar. He will also hold additional charge as the Commissioner of Labour & Employment, Gandhinagar until further orders.
Alok Kumar Pandey, IAS, Director, Employment & Training, Gandhinagar has been promoted to Super Time Scale of IAS (Level 14 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/-). His services are now placed at the disposal of the Industries & Mines Department for his appointment as Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd.
