Winter Break: Schools Closed Until Jan 5 In Rajasthan

| Updated: January 2, 2023 14:43

Winter vacations have prompted schools in Rajasthan to be closed. According to Jagdish Meena, the District Education Officer for Jaipur, these holidays are set, but if the cold wave intensifies, the appropriate decision would be made. The schools will resume on January 6, 2023, after being shuttered through January 5, 2023.

According to sources, the winter break for kids would run from December 25 to January 5. Schools will resume on January 6, 2023, under a state government directive, due to the state’s less severe cold wave outbreak.

The District Education Officer stated that no schools were discovered to be open, although complaints of the few private schools that were discovered to be open also turned out to be closed during the investigation.

The situation will be monitored to see whether the cold wave worsens before a decision is made. In other developments, schools in several districts of Uttar Pradesh are closed as a result of the cold wave. On several dates in January, UP Schools in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Sitapur, and other regions will be closed. This choice has been made with the surrounding cold and heavy fog in mind.

On January 2 and 3, all schools in Gorakhpur, for kids in LKG to Class 8, are closed. In states like Punjab and Haryana as well as Uttar Pradesh, numerous other districts have been closed.
