Disney+ Hotstar has announced that it will broadcast Coldplay’s concert live from Ahmedabad on January 26 as part of its partnership with the British band. This performance is expected to be one of the most anticipated concerts of 2025, as Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ includes several shows across India.
The band will perform three concerts at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, before concluding the Indian leg of their tour with a fourth show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25.
In a statement, Disney+ Hotstar expressed its commitment to transforming the entertainment experience by providing access to this monumental event on every screen across the country.
Chris Martin, the frontman of Coldplay, shared his excitement for the live-streamed performance, saying, “Hello to all our friends in India. We are delighted to announce that our concert from Ahmedabad will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar, enabling you to witness it from anywhere in India. We eagerly anticipate your presence and hope to explore your captivating country. We extend our warmest regards.”
The streaming platform promises high-quality visuals and an immersive experience, with exclusive behind-the-scenes content for subscribers.

“Nearly 1,000 Cops to be Deployed at Concert Venue in Navi Mumbai”
Meanwhile, security arrangements for Coldplay’s concerts in Navi Mumbai have been confirmed. Nearly 1,000 police officers will be deployed across the DY Patil Stadium, where about 45,000 fans are expected to attend.
The police plan extensive measures to maintain law and order, with 70 officers and 434 policemen stationed inside the stadium, while 21 officers and 440 policemen will be stationed outside each day.
To ensure public safety, heavy vehicles from Uran, Nhavasheva, Pune, and Thane will be banned in the area during the event. The Thane police have also issued similar restrictions on heavy vehicles within their jurisdiction, and designated parking areas will be provided for concertgoers.
