Gujarat is expected to experience a fall in maximum temperature by two to four Degrees Celsius for the next 48 hours with more or less the same temperature for the subsequent three days, the Indian Meteorological Department stated in its statement on Wednesday.

“Fall in maximum temperatures by two-four Degrees Celsius during next 48 hours, thereafter no large change during subsequent three days is very likely,” the IMD statement read.

Also, as forecasted before, many regions of Gujarat are expected to receive moderate to light showers on Thursday due to the western disturbance. These regions include Anand, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Dahod, Mahisagar and Vadodara among others.

Ahmedabad on Wednesday experienced gusty winds in the late evening. The temperature in the city went to 39.6 Degrees Celsius after almost 25 days of temperature hovering around 41 Degrees Celsius. However, the minimum temperature had gone up by 2.8 Degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
