Droupadi Murmu on Monday was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana. Former President of India Ram Nath Kovind, outgoing Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Former President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other dignitaries were present at the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the entire nation watched with pride as Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji took oath as the President of India.
